Details

    Description

      Steps:

      1. Enter Dashboard
      2. Use "Create form" or "Create content" quick action
      3. Select location in UDW and click "Create"
      4. Select content type in right side panel and click "Create"
      5. Content creation form is opened, check action buttons at the top right corner.

      Actual result:

When you create a content or form using Quick action and UDW (to select location), we have different action buttons: Confirm and Cancel vs different set of actions when we create content in standard way from Content structure. Action "Confirm" can be confusing for the user, what will be the result after triggering it. Usually we have action "Publish" when we want to create a new item.

      Quick action/"on the fly"

      Create content/form via Content tree:

      Expected result:

These action buttons should be unified and should be the same no matter if the user creates content/form from Dashboard (quick action) or Content structure.

After selecting location in UDW and content type in right side panel, the user should be redirected to a "standard" content create form with the following actions:

      • Send to review
      • Publish
      • Publish later
      • Preview
      • Delete draft
      • Save and close
      • Save

      e.g.

After creation of (draft) form or content item, the user should view Content structure or Forms list (Content tree).
