Description
When trying to view an article having a link to an ezobject that no longer exists, eZ publish crashes with the message below. Tested on two sites with both 3.9.1 and 3.9.2.
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in kernel/classes/datatypes/ezxmltext/handlers/output/ezxhtmlxmloutput.php on line 242
Fatal error: eZ publish did not finish its request
The execution of eZ publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.
Steps to reproduce
- Create two articles.
- Make a link with the online editor to the first article in the second one. Use the ezobject type link - however this bug could be valid for other link types as well.
- Then delete the first article, i.e. the article that you linked to.
- eZ is no longer able do display this page in view mode (but it can still be edited and the link removed, whereafter the page works again).
