Description
The version management of Landing Pages on eZ Studio looks very confuse, and seems to be incorrect.
Steps to reproduce:
Start by opening your site (1.5.1) in two tabs of your browser: one tab to edit the landing page, and another tab to check your dashboard
- Create a new landing page on eZ Studio, and publish it (you will publish version 1)
- Edit the landing page you published on step 1
- Check the dashboard, and confirm that editing the landing page didn't generated a draft in "My Drafts"
- Click "Save draft"
- Check the dashboard, and confirm that a draft (version 2) shows up in "My Drafts"
- Click "Save draft" again
- Check the dashboard, and confirm that a new draft (version 3) now also shows up in "My Drafts"
- Click "Publish"
- Check the dashboard, and confirm that version 4 was published
Expected results:
I would expect that the same version was used when we edit, save draft, and publish.
Example:
Edit landing page, which should generate (let's say) version 2, save draft should save the contents on the same version 2, and publish should publish version 2 as well.
After publishing, if you edit again, it would create version 3, and publishing would publish version 3.
At this point, publishing, or saving draft, is always creating a new version, which is wrong.
