Steps to reproduce:

1. Create new Content Type with the following fieldtypes:

• ezdate - leave 'empty' as default value,
• ezuser.

1. Create new Content of newly created Content Type.
2. Choose any date in future or past.
3. Edit the Content.

Expected result:
Date during edit is the same as it was set previously.

Result:
Date is exactly the same as today's.

Note:
The problem doesn't occur when ezuser fieldtype is not set.
