Description
The REST API JavaScript client has an internal discovery service to easily get the base resources URI provided by the root response of the API. In PlatformUI, we use the root of the REST API to get such resources. Instead of doing that, the REST API client should expose the discovery service and the PlatformUI should use it to get such resources in a more effective way.
