The initial export script does need several improvements to work properly.
Bugs:
-added a offset and limit to avoid memory limit crashes on big databases
-added subtree filtering to manage several subtrees and allow also media (43) subtree exporting
-fixed subtree filtering which did not work properly
-added utf8 encoding for special characters (exporter crashed on german content)
-added cluster file handler support

A patch file with changes was attached.
