The content/seach.tpl starts with

{let search=false()}

what prevents the execution the local search function what, sometimes, causes a little confusion in some customers.

I think that should exists a configuration item, in some ini file, that changes this allowing the customer, out of the box, to make the default templates use the local searches when set to enabled.
