If you have a container object (like Folder) and at least one sub object that contain ".js" in name
e.g. test.js,
and if you try to open this folder in browse mode when creating a link, you will not be able to do that, due to this folder will never be opened.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create folder with name Folder1
2. Create folder with name test.js inside Folder1
3. Open/Create an article
4. Push Insert/edit object button on OE
5. Go to Browse tab
6. Find Folder1
7. Try to click on it, to open it. It will not be opened. (And "Top Level Nodes" are added each time you click)
