Description
Make the eZ Publish package management really useful:
- import (do not confuse this with "install") multiple versions of packages to an eZ Publish installation, so you can choose in the interface which version you want to install (both in setup wizard as in the kernel/package module)
- enter URLs to other package repositories in the setup wizard
- configure multiple package repositories in the INI file
- update packages to newer versions (GUI, cronjob) straight from a package repository, in different modes (notification mode vs fully automatic mode), similar to update features you find in an OS (and in some other CMSs most likely as well).
- dependency checking (eZ Publish version / db system & version / other packages) and automatic resolving (where applicable)
- remote package repository server code (feed from local repository or other possibilities)
