The interface for managing global URL aliases was changed in eZ Publish 3.10. It's a bit confusing that it says "path" everywhere. I'd suggest to rename some fields there so that the interface is more understandable for users (see the attached screenshot):

"Path" --> should be "URL alias"

"Name/Path of alias:" --> should be "New URL alias:"

"Path to existing funtionality or resource:" --> should be "Destination (path to existing funtionality or resource):"

This is just a suggestion of course but I really think the current interface is confusing...
