Hi,

You have a folder class with
-) name
-) short_name
fields.
The $node.name of the folder is created with:
<short_name|name>

You want to create a folder with the name "20. August 2007" -> it contains one or more dots. (The string is a german date.)

If doesn't matter if you create it within the admin interface or within the webdav browser - if you want to open the folder in webdav, you can't access it.
