Currently, logs are rotated by eZ in a non configurable way, and this is done internally. On high traffic websites, it can create an overhead. I see 2 alternatives:

1. cronjob
Use a cronjob to rotate logs. It would avoid checking file date everytime a logfile is handled

2. external rotatelog
Some people may appreciate being able to use an external rotatelog tool (like apache's). An option should be added to disable the built-in one completely.
