Today, the users are not findable through the search on the front-end. In order not to reveal personal information (like the email), in the search results, the 'user' object must be a simple line, linking to the user profile.

Additionally, to make it possible for logged-in users to see 'user' objects in the search results, the "Registered" role must be modified, the "Content > Read > Class[User]" policy is required.
