Description
Hello,
I ran into a serious problem today.
I found I could no longer update settings / attributes / object of my account on auth.ez.no normally.
When I do try to update my account, I am getting the following error and only this error (regardless of my seeminly valid input or variations in attempt to solve the problem)
Input did not validate
- State/Region: Input required
The frustrating part is that I have provided a 'State/Region' selections using the provided drop downs set to 'United States of America' and 'Alaska' but the error remains. I also filled out the rest of the form except for the 'Title' attribute. Yet I can not publish my modified signature changes to my user account object attributes.
Can you help me find a solution to this problem?
I don't remember the 'State/Region' attribute the last time I updated my account settings so this seems new and the source of my errors.
I don't think the application is dealing with my seeminly valid and normal input in the use case that I did not have this content in previous drafts / versions.
Can you help me find a solution to this problem so I can update my user account normally?
This is most frustrating problem to encounter. Even more frustrating if this also is (silently?!?) affecting other users as well ...
Respectfully,
Heath
Steps to reproduce
N/A - No special steps required to reproduce. Still here are some example steps that could help you follow our input through the process in an attempt to reproduce the bug in question.
1) Go to share.ez.no
2) Click login
3) Login normally
4) Click profile
5) Click edit profile
6) Set 'State/Region' attribute with valid drop down selections and change any attribute content (I tried to add plain text to our signature attribute)
7) Attempt to publish changes, notice error, notice there is no way possible (or evident to uninformed user) to publish the modified user object because of the error.
