Search results scoring provided by Solr is not taken into account on the result list in back-office's search due to the fact of hardcoded sorting method SortClause\DateModified(Query::SORT_ASC) and incorrect usage of $query->filter instead of $query->query (ref: https://doc.ezplatform.com/en/1.7/guide/solr/#configuring-the-solr-search-engine-bundle). The problem seems to not affect UDW search.
