Solr Bundle currently uses GET requests to Solr when doing searches. However either in case or lots of languages, large queries and/or complex permissions rules, this can result in reaching the limit of 8k for URI's towards for instance Jetty.

If the query instead used POST, the limit is 256K, others systems on top of Solr also uses POST for similar reasons:
