When for instance installing a clean install (no demo content), or otherwise having a empty content/media/user/* tree, the content browse vies can be a bit confusing, not making it clear why I can not click on any of the items in the browse view (as first level is greyed out, but without a second level shown this is not obvious).

So possible many smaller things to improve here, but if some info about the root item is already loaded on the page the best from User perspective would perhaps be to grey out Content Browse completely until some items have been created in the section.
