Full text search options in Legacy search engine are quite limited, but dedicated search engine backends (Solr, Elasticsearch) support advanced full text search features. These are very similar, but however still differ.

Rather than limiting full text search support to common subset/intersection, we should expose what is native to a particular search backend. That means there would be some differences between the search engines and that will need to be documented.
