Spec story first and foremost, to see if option A, making this native in API is feasible (see epic).

  • ContentCreateStruct is missing possibility to set publishDate (like UpdateStruct has) => this is covered by EZP-26064
• Version:
  • Need to identify how we should handle publish date on versions (currently no property or database field for this)

Open questions:

• Should API behave differently on publish? (implying new status or similar) Or should UI not publish these drafts?
• Ideally we will need to expose query capabilities to find drafts not published, but searc his not covering this so unless cronjob uses DB directly or loops over drafts something new needs to be added.
