    Description

We would like to request a feature that can link objects across domains / siteaccesses. The scenario greatly improves handling of content and links in a multi-site setup and enable content sharing among sites. Given the following scenario.

There is a system with two websites.

      - Root Node 2
        - Root Siteaccess A ( example-site-a.com/ )
          - Article A ( example-site-a.com/Article-A )
          - Article B ( example-site-a.com/Article-B )
        - Root Siteaccess B ( example-site-b.com/ )
          - Article C ( example-site-b.com/Article-C )
          - Article D ( example-site-b.com/Article-D )

In the current system, if an internal link is placed in Article A to Article C. The system will create a relative link, but the Link is invalid since it will either be not valid or it will display Article-D under the layout of site A. If the anonymous user of site A is restricted you will get a permission error.

The new feature will now represent the link from Article A ( http://example-site-a.com/Article-A ) to Article C as an absolute link http://example-site-b.com/Article-D. The user will basically switch now the domain and layout to the other siteaccess.

Please provide a description on how you would implement it. So that we can double check it. We believe this should be altered / modified https://doc.ez.no/display/EZP/ez_urlalias.
