A common use case for a custom tag is to position widgets in the rich text body of an article. These widgets often display information about the object taken from object fields.

Due to limitations in XSL and custom tag pre-converters, while it is possible to access custom tag attributes, it is not possible to access content object information, whether that's content object fields or the content object ID, content type, or name.

One solution would be to inject the content object ID or ContentInfo to the pre-converter.
