This issue has been identified before (https://jira.ez.no/browse/EZP-19509) in the community, and a corrective solution was created back then as a result (https://github.com/ezsystems/ezfind-ee/commit/226d2d942cbcda23a5de3e2a95a1425bb1b72c02). Now customer Kaliop - William Reed Business Media has reported the same problem, and therefore the original solution needs to be backported to the customer version and certified.

Steps to reproduce:

• Configure a clean eZ Publish/eZ Find/Solr configuration.
• Configure eZ Find with DisableDirectCommits/CommitWithin
• Publish an article
• Watch the STDOUT from Solr to determine when the object commits. The object will not commit unless something triggers the commit manually, even with CommitWithin set to a positive integer in the ini file.
