Description
TinyMCE has a peculiar behavior, when it comes to selecting content with double click (or even click and drag). When you have inline, aligned images, and double click on the word right next to it, the image also becomes selected. This can be a nuisance if you apply styles such as bold, italic or underline to your selection.
I've been able to reproduce this with Firefox and Chrome in OSX and Windows
Steps to reproduce
- In 5.2 environment
- create some content with an XML Block field
- enter some text (for instance: "this is a test") followed by a space and insert an inline, right aligned image next to it.
- double click on the word "test"
=> expected result: only the word "test" is selected
=> actual result: the word "test" and the image are both selected
Similar behavior may be experienced if the image alignment is to the left, but doesn't occur if the image is aligned to center or not at all
