on source server perform these steps:

1 - publish article to future date
2 - article will be put in the pending actions list
3 - after the specified date, run the cronjob workflow from command line, to see the results.

make sure that warnings are not off in php.ini, and the [workflow] section is enabled in cronjob.ini
