As a site developer / maintainer I would like to be able to restrict clear all cache operation from regenerating image aliases.
It rarely happens that I actually need to reset all image aliases, but it happens often that users in the back end issue a clear all operation to enforce ini and template or view caches to be updated.

If it were possible to identify, through a ini setting, the array of cache-id and/or cache-tag's to exclude from the clear-all operation, my environment would be more stable and could have better performance ratios.
