eZ Commentes FieldType is not supported by Public API

      Description

      This field type is missing in Public API.

      Currently agreed way to solve this:

      • Create a script to import ezcomments data into Content model as an upgrade script
      • Identify missing features in API and UI to make content model work well for comments

        Closing this issue as won't fix as we don't plan to re implement ezcomments.

        For now we have added support for comments via disqus and facebook services and made that extensible(see #EZP-21526). In the future we might consider implementing a provider that stores comments using the eZ Publish content model, but then some management and workflow features needs to be added first in a way that it allows for full commenting functionality.

        If you want to continue using eZ Comment, there is a community contributed Bundle in progress which provides some of the functionality already.
        It should be fairly simple to integrate this bundle into the general comment functionality provided in DemoBundle as of #EZP-21526.
