Content view templates in backoffice don't match ezdemo content classes

    Details

      Description

When browsing an ezdemo install in the backoffice, the used templates don't match the content classes.

They're most likely default for the plain install. For instance, on Article, the location or author aren't displayed.

A minimum would be to use the standard node/view/full.tpl template. This would at least ensure that content can be previewed.

Ideally, we would write simple templates for the ezdemo classes, at least the most used ones (article, etc).

This is what an ezdemo article looks like in the backoffice. Only image, text and & comments enabled.

Note: the default (admin) design/admin/templates/preview.tpl & design/admin/override/templates/admin_preview/article.tpl templates aren't acceptable in its current state. On top of that, there are also a few datatypes whose display really doesn't look good (eZ Star Rating for instance).

The best choice for now might be to improve default preview template, and drop the overrides for specific content classes, since they never have the same attributes in the various packages. In the future, each package should come with its own content class preview templates, since they're clearly a best practice when developing websites.
