Hello. If you do a fresh install choosing ezflow site clean package, [FileSettings]/VarDir is written to several places, and there are some differences.

Btw, in settings/siteacess/[whatever]/site.ini.append.php value is set like this

[FileSettings]
VarDir=var/ezflow_site_clean

but in setings/override/site.ini.append.php you'll have

[FileSettings]
VarDir=var/ezflow_site

Some thoughts about:
1.- We are told that one database should have a only vardir, so, as we can only ste a database connection in install process, we don't just only set the value in settings/override/site.ini.append.php?
At the end, if you plan multiaccess you have to do it manually...

2.- As an Enchacement, it could be cool to select the folder where you want work. i mean, would be nice to choose something like "i want my files in var/web" from the install process

Do a fresh install choosing ezflow_site_clean as package
Check your settings/siteaccess/[whatever]/site.ini.append.php and settings/override/site.ini.append.php
