Any type of object that is related to an article(or any other object) using the <embed> tag, will stay visible when the status is put to hidden. This behavior shows with or without caches turned on, and even after republishing the article.

Steps to reproduce

-add a related object A in an article/object B
-insert the object A with ezoe in the article B
-verify that the object A shows in the published article B
in the object>location tab, hide the object A
-the object A still shows.
