On Oracle environment, when deleting current packages (Setup->Packages) and installing new ones, we first need to change the "extensions" folder's permissions ($ chmod a+rwx -R extension). If not, the new packages won't be installed on the folders and no warning will be given to the user.
When looking for the information of the packages installed on the system, it seems that the new ones were installed.
