As the title says, text block seems to convert \n newlines to \r\n DOS newlines while saving. This is totally unexpected and creates lots of headache, for example a case that i just had:

{def $names=$user_object.data_map.names.content|explode("\n")}

All lines in array except last one will have the \r character in end, which is invisible in output but will make comparisons etc fail.
