Description
on all our web sites, ez generate a lof of call to the filesystem to check if a file exists or not. the function file_exists is call more than 300 times per pages (when the cache isn't expire).
The function which use file_exits are :
ezextension::activateExtensions
ezextension::prependSiteAccess
ezmodule::activemodulerepositories
eztemplate::autoload
eztstranslator::loadtranslationfile
Is there a way to add a new cache file and remove all this unnecessary call?
I don't think the page will be faster with the change but the server,the NAS and or the local hard drive will have more time for something else...
Steps to reproduce
on a real web site (with several settings/extensions)
enabled xdebug.profiler_enable=1
