Currently ezmail.php provides support for defining extra mail headers, but eZ Publish does not use this functionality to it's full advantage and currently it is not possible to define custom mail headers which may be required by some corporate SMTP servers.

The included patch against trunk to ezmail.php and site.ini allows you to define extra mail headers within site.ini to be appended to all outgoing emails.
