In very large text pieces in a Rich Text editor we seem to have extra line spaces added every time we save. It only happens when the text is very large and only the last part of the content. My article has about 50-60 paragraphs with a total of 8000-10000 characters. This includes a few headers, some bullet points and a few PDF files embedded. At around paragraph 40-45 I suddenly gets an extra line break between the paragraph. Then I get more and more between each paragraph (not exactly one more per paragraph, so it is not a counter that is not cleared) and near the end of the content I have 7-8 extra lines between the paragraphs.

If I edit the page and publish once more then everything is doubled.

It does not happen high up in the paragraph, so it is only when the content is very long the error occurs.

It is a problem in both 2016.04 and 2016.06 and both Chrome and Firefox.

Let me know if I can help debugging this more. It is pretty frustrating for the users to not be able to write long articles.
